About

I spent the first 29 years of my life as an annoyingly incurable optimist.

And then I was cured.

First, I became a divorce lawyer and in that profession was privvy to just how strange, hurtful, obnoxious, selfish and angry people can be.  A few months later, my own marriage failed and my life went upside down and, gradually, right side up again.

Now – I have a fresh start.  I’m trying to continue to believe in the inherent goodness, integrity and strength of all of humankind, despite any evidence I may get to the contrary.  And daring to hope, just a little bit, that things can work out differently the next time and that the happily ever after is still possible, but very aware of the odds against me.
